Haxhi Krasniqi - A Newcomer in SES Boxing

At the October 23 fight of Timo Hoffmann vs. Alexander Petkovic with the WBO European Heavyweight title on the line, a new face of SES boxing stable is coming out in the ring. Haxhi Krasniqi (32 – 2 – 0 (11)) from Munich as of now supports the SES-team . The sparring session of the 23-year old light heavyweight against Robert Stieglitz has convinced coach Dirk Dzemski . "The young man is a top class boxer. He's got s big potential in his fists", so the champions' trainer. The brave and passionate fighter from Munich has already the experience of 34 professional outings.

Gamboa beats Salido, unifies WBA and IBF Championship

One of the most discussed questions at Pearl Theatre at The Palms Casino Resorts in Las Vegas after Yuriorkis Gamboa’s impressive unanimous decision win over Mexico’s Orlando Salido had nothing to do with the scoring of the judges (116-109, 115-109, 114-109) but with Gamboa’s style. Fans and experts argued whether they had seen a "new Gamboa" (as HBO’s Max Kellermann supposed) or the "same old fighter" with the same old flaws and sometimes sloppy defense.

Felix Sturm returns on September 4

Last week WBA middleweight super champion Felix Sturm has reached an agreement with his former promoter Klaus-Peter Kohl (Universum) regarding the end of their promotional contract. Now Sturm is free to organize and promote his fight all by himself. His comeback after more than a year of ring absence is scheduled for September 4th in his home town Cologne (Germany). The three-time world champion will announce his opponent and further details on the show at a press conference next week.
